This trip was over so fast. I mean the memory of it just seem so surreal. Like it just happened. I still remember first day going into airport, camwhoring, then saw Wenxin’s bf hahaha then now I am back in school ==”
Okay I shall start already. And it was really very cold. They said, the period we went, is one of the coldest winters HK have ever experienced. Even the news reported it… kns…. so suay. Got one day with 7 degree somemore -.- There are a lot of pictures so I shall only post those that have me/no one in it 😛
Hong Kong Trip 13 to 17 February ’10
Camwhored with sister & cousins 😀 (father side)
At the airport, we met our CTC Holiday Guide who will be with us throughout the 5 days. And I tell you she form a first bad impression on us by telling us that she have to tahan us 5 days, so please be cooperative or whatever. OI WE GOING ON HOLIDAY LEH!!!!!! Why must listen to you! OUR holiday ok. ==. So we decided from that day onwards, to RUN AWAY FROM THE TOUR!!! AND WE DID NOT REGRET HAHAHA. Will elaborate more later.
Boarded plane @ dunno what time but if I remember correctly, our flight Cathay CX724 was at 9.15am, and we had to arrive airport at 7am -_- Loads and loads of slacking, waste my time!! Went to eat breakfast, fishball noodle or something, which wasn’t very nice. Then the teh bing, not very nice also. Aiyo. Nvm, at least will be better than plane food, DEFINITELY.
I don know why every picture I took that day looks damn screwed up so I shall post only the nice ones out of the 1450870 we camwhored on the plane (hair was let down because difficult to sleep on the plane with my hair sticking out at the back)
Then I decided to tie up my hair halfway during camwhoring because it was all frizzled & it sux, so I had to hide it 😛
Okay lah, at least better than most of the previous shots -_- and one of the only times I would camwhore alone, yep.
Arrived @ HK late coz our flight delayed by 20 minutes coz of some technical fault = 20minutes of slacking on the plane = boring. Slept all the way till halfway through the trip when they gave food, then ate my NISSIN SPICY SEAFOOD CUP NOODLE (asked for hot water :D), then slept somemore, before we arrived, yay. And I have no idea why so many people like to drink orange juice on the plane, because it is not nice ): Regretted choosing it, totally forced it down my throat. Kns make myself fat only I rather eat mandarin oranges ):
At airport! And throughout the trip, I was asking my sister, “Omg hope we can see Jo Kwon and Ga-in. SHINee and Ga-in nevermind, see before alr, but I wna see Jo Kwon!!!” In the end didn’t get to, in the 5 days they were here in the same duration as us. But it’s ok coz I’m nice (??) 😛
With relatives! 🙂
After that went straight on our tour bus to our Hollywood Disneyland hotel to check-in 😀 Met our tour guide, some Rainky or something. However you spell lah. He look very uncle, a.k.a very old. But he really very tall. So old liao still so tall, when younger even taller??? But nevermind, his looks CMI and that’s what matters 😛 So there was no handsome tour guide for us ):
At Disneyland Hollywood Hotel’s entrance ^^
Halfway through the entrance (you had to go pass 2 doors in order to enter the hotel)
The decoration in the hotel. WTH, 1st day so wasn’t cold la. We all felt like we were freezing.. But look the clothes I’m wearing. Is like 2 layers only -_-” Not cold at all compared to Korea!
With sister and Jiayi. Look what Jiayi is wearing man. Totally not cold la hor please. But that’s coz she changed out of her super long boots hahaha.
^^ self explanatory. Another door heading to the pool. Didn’t go to the pool duh coz it’s too cold, but I did want to find out how the pool was like 😛
Where the door headed to. It was getting really cold outdoors.. but I still could manage a twist. LAME!! Not cold at all!! Compared to the next few days. With bro & sis ^^
Cold, cold. Lol. Jumpshot somemore -.-” Not cold enough.
With Papa 😛
With cousins near the bushes ^^
Then we chanced upon this lady who was giving out chalk and designs to draw on the floor (cool!!! we asked her for the price, and she said it was free :D).
So I took the chance to scribble some things on the floor (they will help us get rid of it afterwards, I think ^^)
Hahaha 😀 My beautiful cute mickey mouse.
Drawing to a paper 😛 But how come so ugly? LOL!
I just pretend pretend only 😛 Hehe.
With sister. Wah the toilet super grand -.-” The cubicle damn big and nice. Like hotel toilet (Y) I like.
Came outta the toilet and took 10minutes to find out where my other cousins are (didn’t want to be left with parents and the other adults while our tour guides were helping us check in :P). They were only like 10metres away, in the gift/souvenir shop, just that we couldn’t see them until 10 minutes later -_-” We went outdoors, indoors, walked around the whole place to find them. Wah piang eh… feel like slapping myself.. and my sister.
One of the bears they were selling. Quite ex leh. Like Singapore’s price liddat. Ok la, tourists’ attraction, what can I expect.
I was lacking of THAT kind of childhood ):
HAHAH WHO WANT. :))) 2C, RVNCC, PSB, anyone? 😀 Colourful undies leh, you don see this in Singapore you know. Hahaha.
Our Disneyland theme park cards for 2 days! Was really excited, but was really disappointed afterwards -.-” This theme park card was special to each and every person, because when you enter for the first time, your thumbprint is recorded together with the theme park card, and when you enter the 2nd time, it has to scan your thumbprint together with your card for you to go in. Hehehe ^^
My luggage look so small compared to my sister’s. Oh well, it is -_-“
In our hotel 😀 Nice image of Mickey there~
A free bag given by the hotel! 😀
Then in 15 minutes, we had to gather downstairs. But there was a short delay becoz my cousins were getting room service to clean their rooms because there was this pee smell that couldn’t be gotten rid of. I tell you the pee smell really damn strong, really damn sux. I can’t imagine having to enter that room since I could already smell it from outside! LOL! They (Y) sia, still put their luggage inside then call for room service. Wonder which idiot peed in that room LOL.
After which we went and entered Disneyland, took pictures with the entrance etc 😀
At Hong Kong Disneyland entrance ^^
While waiting for the rest to be done with their tickets~
Some building + look at the FLOWERS/GRASS THERE. DAMN NICE!!! AND CUTE!!!!!!
The castle ^^
Saw this band while walking along disneyland? 😛
Cold cold 😛
Then it got really cold so my brother went to purchase a jacket from HK Disneyland (sucks). Jacket HK350 (conversion rate, AROUND 1:5) WTH. Then one pair of mickey gloves, HK90 if I remember correctly. But the mickey gloves super cute! Then it was supposed to be my brother’s gloves, in the end everyone fighting to use it. HAHAHA. Coz very cute 😛
Inside the shop my brother bought the jacket… zzzz. These days a lot of toys hor. Fire engine also can serve as toy car… My days only got Nemo and Dory.
The mickey gloves 😀
Went to eat at Comet Cafe where food is really ex 😦 Saw someone’s family meal HK290 -.-” but then we used our dinner tickets 😀 so it was kinda free, except we paid for entrance.
My sister’s tomato rice & my fried rice ^^ Regretted having my fried rice coz the rice was really cold n it sux because it was already really cold at that time since it was turning dark. Then the tomato rice was warm which was (Y). But they gave free tea which didn’t warm me at all, but scalded my tongue ._.
DO NOT THINK WINTER IS ENDING AND IT’S NOT COLD ANYMORE IN HK. It was like 7degree to 12degree in the whole duration we were there. What the hell, we thought it was aircon temperature only, so we brought very little clothing, and in fact never bring any winter clothing at all. But kns, it was very cold.. even worse than Korea, coz Korea we prepared all our longjohns sweaters etc. But in HK, we lack of preparation, then wear very little layers, so it was cold like KNS.
Waiting for the honey the pooh ride lol.
On the honey the pooh ride which was ultimate stupid -_-” Just round around the whole place listening to story. Wah piang, I want play horror ride they also don’t have.
JOKE!! We all looking at the mirror! HAHAHA! When they took a picture of us. LOL.
Dunno if purposely or what, but they all sleeping! HAHAHAHA
Then we went for Space Mountain!!! Woo (-_-), which was supposedly the most thrilling game in the entire theme park zzzz. You know they gave a map, whereby there was a logo “This ride may be frightening for children.” which means GREAT RIDES!!!!!!!! And there was only one game with that logo in the whole theme park – Space Mountain. ZZZZZ. HK DISNEYLAND SUX -_-” Anyway…
On the space mountain. HAHAHA. I look sleepy??? ._. Most ppl’s eyes were closed at that point in time. Don’t know why.
I miss Korea Everland/Lotteworld! Everywhere got roller coasters, EVEN 77DEGREE INCLINATION, HK Disneyland don’t even have one! Cannot even hear screaming through the whole theme park. Zzzz. Even Escape Theme Park owns HK Disneyland -.-” Except for the scenery I guess. I think if you wanna visit HK Disneyland, it has got to be becoz of the great pictures and scenery and view and whatever, and not coz of the GREAT RIDES -.- was anticipating Disneyland so much coz of this, ewwww.
Had to play stupid rides that went on rounds and rounds, and some car-driving thing that cannot make it compared to Singapore’s go-kart ride 😛 SG ESCAPE THEME PARK FTW!! Look forward to the opening of that Sentosa theme park, I heard it’ll be great! 😛 But ex for Singaporeans leh 😦
I conquered space!! HAHAHA.
Like I said, nice view ^^
The castle where we were waiting for the fireworks. The announcement came that the fireworks would be starting and everyone just rushed to that place. Unfortunately we were really far back already 😦
While waiting ^^ Camwhore with sis!
With the castle.. and sister.
Started! 😀 Finally. It seemd so long of waiting (and somemore, it was COLD. T.T)
There are A LOT more pictures but I only posted the VERY-NICE ones becoz some PHAIL and whatever becoz fireworks are really too fast for you to capture. Btw these are taken by my brother because I am not very tall and many heads were blocking me so I could only look up into the sky and not take anything 😛 Good thing anyway. Hahaha. Good excuse to ask him to take for me 😀
Then started getting out of Disneyland because fireworks display means Disneyland closing for the day.
The buildings were beautiful, I must admit.
You finally see my bag. Haha, sister’s to be exact 😛 I never ever leave house with my OWN things, do I? 😛
Bush! Hahaha. Some flowerbed thingy. Quite pretty but didn’t manage to take 😦
The castle, my camera sucks at night mode so 😦
Lol @ my sis’s hair.
The dolphin outside Disneyland.
And off we go! Don wan to return the next day already, because the rides were sickening + we practically seen everything alr. That place was really small and boring and I can’t believe we paid about $140 for the theme park tickets for 2 days -.-” Rubbish waste of money I’ll rather head to Singapore’s Escape Theme Park -_-“
It was still early when we left (i.e. 8pm) and HK was famous for nightlife so we decided to head down to Mong Kok to do some shopping ^^
While the rest were purchasing the single-journey tickets.
Mong Kok! ^^ That line does look like Singapore’s line right -.- Heard that Singapore is the copycat hahaha.
But before that, have some food because I guess they weren’t full from the food @ Comet Cafe.
HK’s famous for their teh bing! & check out those cube ice, super cute and nice!!! Hahaha. The ice slowly and fast melt in your mouth one. HUIMIN DON JEALOUS HAHAHA.
That table, made up of my 2 male cousins + my brother and father, they had 3 pots of claypot rice and 4 bowls of wanton mee if I rmb correctly…. Wa lao… Food-devouring dinosaurs. I only had one bowl of wanton mee ok, ONE BOWL ONLY HAHAHA. It was really nice!!! But quite salty (which makes it nice :P) then I drink the soup somemore. Omg SIBEH HEALTHY, IMAGINE ALL THE MSG AND SALT IN IT -.-“
One claypot rice.
Pineapple punch?? ^^ Quite nice, tasted like Mango (which is my ultimate luv)
My wanton 😀
Then ate those egg rolls (waffles in forms of small circular balls :P), and then squid, omg really ate a lot. Then their mango juice is awesome to the max, had lots and lots and lots of food that day! But they’re really great!!!
After eating, we walked down the Mongkok street. The whole street, but nothing caught our eye becoz they are either very blogshop-material, or they’re all winter clothing. Many pouches, jades, antiques (fake or real?) and fake bags too! HAHAHAHA. First few people to reach the end of the street loh, then had to wait for the rest to come back. We walked up and down several times but still nothing caught our eye leh. Got one clutch was quite nice but we decided to buy from Shenzhen on 4th day instead ^^
After we met up with the rest (who bought loads of stuff and I have no idea how), we went back to our hotel @ Disneyland Resort. Paid HK72 for both the return ticket to and from Disneyland, so we decided to buy the Octopus card the next day. Would be more convenient + cheaper (I guess?)
The super cute train 😛
One cabin. Look at the window ;P
Trying to follow the image on the shuttle bus 😛
Went back to Disneyland via MTR and took the shuttle bus back to hotel.
Sister took this picture with MY camera. :@
The toilet + this thing in the toilet
Slacked awhile then slept already. Becoz by the time we packed all our stuff for checking out the next morning + clothes, it was already 2am+
Didn’t check the channels available on TV on that day…
As I said earlier, we decided to run away from the tour that day, and headed to Macau! ^^ Bought some bread before leaving because we knew we would need it…
Put down my fringe on that day and only that day. Didn’t like my fringe throughout the whole trip because it is getting really long and irritating. But because I wanted my photos to look different for once so I decided to put it down 😀
What I wore for that day…. Except for the hotel slippers. Hahaha.
We bought our Octopus cards (HK150, and HK100 stored value. Worth it, I say worth it.) and headed down to some MTR station (I think is Zhong Wan or Sheung Wan) before taking the 1hour ferry to Macau. Had to fill out so many immigration forms -_-” And the ferry ride to Macau really sux, make you really dizzy and giddy. Had to apply so much oil on myself, then eat one sweet (which I didn’t finish through the 1hour ferry ride, because I left it in my mouth and slept for the entire ferry ride HAHAHAHA)
The MTR ride down to somewhere… hahaha.
Taking ferry ride ^^ Buying tickets.
In the ferry ride. Totally dizzy -.-” See even the camera also dizzy lmao.
Reached that place and then took shuttle bus down to Venetian hotel. (because sister+brother+cousin had went there before, they will know how to go around there)
Inside the Venetian place! Damn freaking cool, the sky look so damn real la!!!! Not on picture, but if you are there, it looks really cool!
The bridge ^^ where BOF had been filmed before! O_O~
Headed to the food place where we got some food for ourselves (duh ._.) My sister had some stirfried noodle which costed about SGD $13, and I had some Spicy Pork noodle which costed about SGD $11. MY noodle like maggie mee, sister’s stirfried noodle was really salty and caused our tongues to have some weird feeling throughout the day….
Very nice also ^^ the buildings! and shops la. There was ZARA, MANGO, G2000 etc. But all the clothes Singapore can find, price also around the same, no point buy from there.
Hahaha, the food place + the buildings outside. ^^
Took pictures on the bridge, hahaha.
Haagen Dazs & Macs was really ex @ Macau O_O even more ex than Singapore, siao. Tourist destination meh? Ok maybe yes ._.
This 财神 we passed by in Hong Kong. Hahaha. Take picture with anything mah, being tourists. Hahaha 😀
Papa went in to buy a keychain! So we stupidly waited outside, until we realised we weren’t supposed to wait for him coz we were supposed to return ourselves -_-“
K what’s that strand of hair doing there.
Taking escalator to the big globe there. We walked one big round around Venetian just to find the big hall (direct translation of 大厅) where everyone was waiting. Very awesome. My leg almost break. Walk walk walk walk around still cannot find the place -.- too big already lah.
Then after the adults were done with the casino and we were done with taking photos (because there wasn’t anything to shop), we headed down to St. Paul’s Ruins or something. Korkor said, during the war, they bomb this place, then bomb bomb bomb, gone, only left this wall. Hahahaha, how true is that? But if they built this wall and this wall alone, then it’s quite stupid what. Maybe it does hold some truth afterall.
Cabbed down ^^ Macau $ about 60++? Is that ok?
It was raining already thus my hood was on. Then the rain got heavier (and everyone was meeting at Macs) so we ran the staircase down all the way down down down and find them. Rain got heavier, but luckily we managed to reach Macs where there was shelter and saw ALL of them waiting for us -_-“
After which we went to this place to eat some fast meal for dinner coz we weren’t really hungry, ate some french toast which was really phail ): then headed back to St. Paul’s Ruins when the rain got smaller.
My camera shutter speed really phail in night mode so all this series of pictures were made of phail.
Alone and with brother and sister. I tell you my camera quality really phail liao 😦
Hahaha. Don’t know what was this. Forgot who took this picture but I can’t find the original one, only got side-view one :X
The stairs all the way down. Wow. Mom stayed below coz she don’t want to climb the stairs. hahaha.
With that sculpture. Hahaha.
Then we went down and shopped around. Bought yogurt ice-cream kinda thing with M&M toppings (OMG -.- as if it wasn’t cold enough. But eating cold in cold quite shiok). Found this shop which keep playing the BOF show, becoz BOF went there to buy some things or sth. Lol but they said the egg tarts quite nice so nvm. Kor was humming along to the Becoz I’m stupid song. OMG -.-” EPIC PASS LOL.
Outside the shop where BOF was filmed before I think, eating yogurt ice-cream. Really damn cold already, wah lao, I really a bit sick in the mind leh.
Starbucks Coffee in Hong Kong! 😀
The decorations there. Quite got CNY mood ^^ Compared to HK. They like no decorations at all please, even Singapore got more CNY mood than them! Ok look, Wenxin Jiayi Puisin feet really not cold -.- mine with 2 socks + shoes were already freezing to the max la!!!! ._.
The sotong they buy, which was super nice 😀
One of the casinos. I asked the taxi driver how many casinos there were in Macau, and he said 37……… Ei wow…..
Near immigrations, where we were supposed to take the ferry back ^^
Then we took the 1-hour ferry ride back to Hong Kong, filled out all the boring immigration forms again, and then another 1-hour ride on the MTR back to our hotel. Not Disneyland hotel anymore as we checked out :)) Headed to L Hotel Nina @ Tsuen Wan West, which was practically the other side of the line from Sheung Wan/Zhong Wan.
Reached hotel at 2am+, almost half-dead already. Still had to collect luggages and card keys. Very very tired. But we were damn impressed with our hotel. Staying on the 45th floor, got this super awesome view that no other hotel can provide. And there’s a transparent glass looking to the outside of the room, so if no one is in the room, can watch TV!! HAHAHAHA. Somemore, that hotel provide free wireless! ^^ Truly 5-star! But I heard from sister that there were many more computers last time.
The transparent toilet ^^
Jiayi super ??! She bathe bathtub, I bathe shower tap, coz I very scared! Hahaha.
In Pjs? Sister getting ready to bathe? Rofl.
Damn shag that day, lie down on bed slept immediately. Hahaha. Sister told me, when I was sleeping, got FT Island I Hope & one other MV that I kind of forgot. Oops.
In the morning, Jiayi received a morning call from our holiday guide “7am gather at hotel lobby” and she kena stun tio, coz 6.45am already. Then she quickly wake all of us up, and my sister even wanted to bathe, then she @%$&$%* my sister, say very late already, 15 minutes left, no time to bathe. Then we double-confirm whether we are following the tour with my brother, and he said no, so we can’t be bothered also and sleep back. LOL. Really damn tired, coz if have to follow tour, means we sleep for 4 hours only. Damn shaggard pls. So in the end we slept till 9am++ I think before Wenxin gave us our morning calls 😀
Before I left the hotel that day, ^^ Sis putting on eyeliner =.=
My cousins wanted Dimsum 😀 I don’t mind too! Headed to the mall opposite/near our hotel to have dimsum!! 😀
Outside the place. Was real crowded at 9am+++ O_O
All the food and everything ^^ And the fish!!!
Jiayi & sis.
There was this dish, small small pieces of fish (not the one you’ve seen), inside containing ROE!!!! They say is fish egg. no idea. BUT IT WAS REALLY VERY NICE, they all don’t dare to eat!!! So I ate A LOT LIKE I MEAN A LOT, together with the fried sotong!!! HAHAHA. HAPPINESS EXISTS ON EARTH ;D Then there’s the cold jellyfish, WOO!! NEVER ENJOYED DIMSUM SO MUCH BEFORE! Love HK food!
After which we headed down to this Wong Tai Sin Temple if I’m not wrong.
Forgot what’s this, but we took a picture anyway.
Outside the temple…
Looked around a bit before heading down to Zhong Wan/Sheung Wan (once again I cannot remember) to take a 45-minute ferry ride to Cheung Chau ^^
DAMN DAMN DAMN COLD. Anyway on route there, we saw a lot Filipinos! Hahaha. Set up mats there. HEHEHE.
Is this box a home? :X
The scenery behind ^^ Look very Singapore CBD.
Flowergirls (me) hahaha! See 2 sandals in that picture? They uber hiong == they like not cold like that -.-” Anyway I’m not wearing jeans, I’m wearing leggings. HAHAHA.
See the background~
With brother ^^ I insist we don’t look alike. I don’t know why so many people say we look alike. We just don’t!!!
At first they wanted to go Lantau/Lamma Island, but then in the end went Cheung Chau (totally off where we were intending to go to), and I have no idea why too. BUT through the whole trip, Cheung Chau is my favourite place already, ^^ Love places like those! You’ll see the pictures afterwards…
Bro & sis with the ships behind us ^^ damn nice picture, I like this.
HAHAHA!! LOL. See the tag hahaha! Pass English!
The shop we bought Teh Bing from. Not very nice. Damn cold still drink Teh Bing. (Y) See we couldn’t even get our hands off our pockets. It was just too cold -_-“
On ferry ride to Cheung Chau~ DAMN DAMN DAMN COLD =.=
Sea view behind us ^^
Why do I look so sian?? Maybe coz I was tired hahaha.
We arrived after 45minutes. In my opnion, it was like a fisherman’s street, got macs and all those hypermarkets, but then they mostly sold seafood, souvenirs etc. Then down the street you can see everything ^^ Can see people killing fish, can see all those prawn still swimming. Then the fish flipping flipping flipping, chop and it’s gone. Then give to the customer, and that’s for fish for tonight! DAMN COOL to the max!!!! Got all those boats etc, fishermen vessels, got flags everything. Damn damn damn cool!!! ^^ Love that place!!!!!
After the boat ride^^ (and toilet trip) 😀
Outside McDonalds! ^^ The meals quite cheap! 😀 And then Cheung Chau was really really really cold, buay tahan but to pull up my coat thing.
Both killing fish… omg.
Cutting out the liver or something!!! =.=!!!! Omg pain! It was still alive few minutes ago, at that point in time!
They all bought some caps from Cheung Chau, while we had some food as usual. Crackers and pizza-like thing, damn nice!
The crackers! Got chilli on it one, must pluck out one by one. Damn nice!!
The pizza-like thing! 😀
Take picture with the rickshaws! And see the view behind! OMG!!!! Look so messy, but give the very “natural” feeling. I love it~!!!
WOW!!! HAHAHA 😀
Epic phail jumpshot 😛
Then of course since we’ve been to such a NATURE place with all the fish and everything, how can we forget about the seafood!
THE FISH IS LIKE DAMN FRESH. YOU KNOW YOU HAVE THE FEELING OF IT STILL BEING ALIVE IN YOUR MOUTH. LOL. Is like damn (Y) (Y) (Y)!!!!
The….FORGOT WHAT IT IS OMG. But it was nice, definitely ^^
Then ate for quite long, then we started walking back. And then there was this fire engine passing by LOL. Think some house got fire. Being singaporeans we went to check out the house. Didn’t seem like anything is wrong leh.. 😛 We take pictures with the vehicles somemore, then everyone started to follow suit. HAHAHA.
The main vehicle (at the front) LOL
Sis & mom & bro~
Look so stylo right! HAHAHA LOL!
Food they sell, damn awesome ^^ They sell everything frmo eggrolls, to sushi, to seafood, EVERYTHING!!!!! DAMN DELICIOUS! Cheung Chau rox!
Don’t know what they eating. Nothing’s on my hands 😀 And I look super spastic. Probably tired :O
Family photo ^^
Bought somemore egg rolls and waffles etc, after that went into the hypermarket to get some cup noodles! 😀 Wanted to buy Haagen Dasz ice-cream but I decided not to because it was REALLY RELALY REALLY cold and I decided not to be sick in the mind. Wanted to get on the boat ride, but it was 7.00pm, just missed the ship zzzz. Had to wait till 8.30pm for the next one T.T Went into McDonalds to slack becuase Cheung Chau was really really cold (even colder than HK, can you imagine!) and Jiayi still bought a McFlurry (Y). I bought a McChicken for HK9 (cheap right!), and THE SERVICE STAFF THAT SERVE ME WAS SUPER CUTE!! HEHEHE.
After which I saw this poster on their wall which stated something like “FREE 20 MINUTES WI-FI” so I tried on EVERY single wireless I could scan dao, and finally I reached a logo which showed the same poster I saw on the wall! clicked on it, had to register, zzz. Was totally sian alr, but I just filled it out, in the hope that there was wi-fi (lack of Internet for 3 days make me almost dead), AND TURNED OUT THERE WAS NO NEED FOR VERIFICATION, headed straight to the last site I visited, which was WWY’s blog! IT SUCCESSFULLY LOADED, then I was damn happy! Then sister snatch from me, cousins all want to use. Shouldn’t let sister use, she will use up half the duration (a.k.a 10minutes) SO I lent her for a few minutes and then snatched it back when she refused to give me back -_-“
Twitter-ed because Twitter would update my blog + my Facebook sooo maximise the use of the 20 minutes. Was on eBuddy but NO ONE from RVNCC Bravo ’10 was online probably coz it was 初二 and everyone was 拜年-ing.
After which my 20 minutes ran out quickly bcoz my cousins and sister used my iTouch, but I was glad I managed to update my Twitter! ^^
In no time it was 8pm++ already, and people were already queueing up for the ship ride. Followed suit lor….
Wanted to sit 2nd deck but in the end didn’t manage to because it was already full T.T 2nd deck because it was indoors unlike the 1st deck where you can feel all the wind. Was really cold, everyone was starting to buy gloves already. But I insisted on not buying, because it was a waste of money, I had a lot gloves at home le -_-“
Me & my McChicken ^^
After which we went back with a 45-minute ferry ride again. No immigration forms because it was all Hong Kong! 😀
The sea view on the ferry~ My coat was all zipped up to the top already, too damn bloody cold -_-“
On the MTR heading to Mong Kok ^^
Headed to Mong Kok again afterwards. There were only a few shops open, and one of them open was this accessories shop. Wenxin bought one whole load, wah she like wna open business like that. Bought 2 friendship bands only ^^
Headed back to L Hotel Nina afterwards ^^ And did I mention from Tsuen Wan West MRT Exit A1 to our hotel is about a 10-minute walk? Everytime very lazy and tired still have to walk back to hotel, aiyoyoyo. And coz we bought cup noodles (and I bought McChicken) earlier on @ Cheung Chau, we ate them before sleeping! ^^ Eat cup noodles + McChicken, immediately sleep. Best way to get fat yay (Y)
Headed down to Shenzhen at 10am ^^ Before that, we went to buy some bread for ourselves to last the whole day in case we were hungry halfway or anything ^^
Hair was still drying (wet at that time, just bathed) so didn’t tie it up. Looks really frizzled. My hair needs a fix ;\
Cleared customs at Lohu and had to fill out all those immigration forms again, sian. Decided to head to 老街 and shop before going 世界之窗, because 世界之窗 will be really beautiful at night ^^
Didn’t really take pictures because was rushing like a crazy woman in that 2 hours we were given to shop – and THE HAGGLING OF PRICES ROCKS!
But we ate at the cafe first.. ^^
I ate Wanton Mee but didn’t take picts, but anyway it sux so it isn’t worth sharing. Not nice at all :(( Ate few bites, and then the rest all forced myself to eat. But the Ice Mango was not bad, at least with the mangoes on top ^^ :D:D But was really really cold after that, as if it wasn’t cold enough -_-“
Then we trained down to 老街 to shop! That place really rox!!! One shoe was like RMB25/RMB30, one bag RMB30, another wallet RMB20, jackets at RMB50 each (quite ex actually), bought lotsa lotsa bags and shoes at Shenzhen! ^^ Slippers as well, and mom bought some clothes for herself too. Hahaha. What’s with the trend now, all long sleeve =.=” Ok it’s winter fine fine.
Then gathered back quite late (supposed to gather at 3.30pm), bought some bagpacks for school use too ^_^ initially it was to contain our things but after that those few bagpacks caught our eye hahaha. Dunno if big enough to use for school or not 😛 Will do so one day hahaha. Stripes or bear one nicer? 😀 Both are nice!!! LOL! At first buy one only, but then I thought the other one was nice too. There was another nice one also ._. Aiya should have bought 3 loh, so cheap only!!!!
After which we trained down to 世界之窗 and bought our entrance tickets, RMB120 each ;\ Used up a lot of our RMB that we converted and didn’t use for shopping, thank god.
Don’t you think it’s very Singapore?
The entrance of the place, beautiful alr 😀
Family photo ^^
The MRT station! Every station there is named after the place it is. Eg: 科学管， 世界之窗, a lot more but I forgot already 😛
With sister and cousins 😀
Our stuff. Hahaha. Papa bought many socks (that could serve as gloves) and scarfs. And Mummy said, I took away the scarf that he is supposed to wear. LOL.
See the gloves! Hahaha!
Cold cold ~ (was 7-12 degrees that day T.T)
Took pictures with many attractions that were “brought” to this place….
Eiffel tower Made In China;
What’s this? Made in India if I’m not wrong.
London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. 😀
What’s this too.
Some random windmill ;P
If I’m not wrong this belongs to Egypt. But made in China. Hahaha.
He wrote the calligraphy for my Aunt! O_O
Ate some char siew rice at this very-ex place.. and bought this orange juice that wasn’t THAT nice. I thought it was the China orange juice that tasted very very nice (SUPER SWEET AND ROX) 7 years ago, but I guess times have changed, maybe taste buds have changed too. HAHAHA.
Created seats for ourselves with plastic bags hahaha. Just left it there after the show :X
How interesting can this be? -.-
Wanted to watch the fireworks after the show (which was really boring) and then I ended up sleeping. Then we couldn’t wait any longer because it was really really very cold so we decided to just leave at 8pm (couldn’t wait 30minutes more for the fireworks to start anymore). Wasted our money 😛
After that, while we were walking to the MRT, we witnessed this little boy hugging a girl’s leg outside the entrance of 世界之窗, with the boyfriend beside her. Apparently my cousin said, the guy hugs the leg of the girl and WILL NOT LET GO one. Unless, you buy a rose from him 10yuan. Wth! Then they hug the girl, coz the girl cannot do anything, then the guy soft-hearted, give the $$ lo, coz the girl cannot possibly do anything. Some poeple will be around the guy, so if you kick him or anything, they will come to you and find trouble for kicking the guy or something, then even worse. So some people would rather pay 10yuan to avoid trouble. & the kid pick people one. He picked the guy in the western suit… lol. So the guy got the rose, gave the girl. The girl just take and throw to the floor very violently. #1 best way to spoil a date.
Mummy said, earlier on @ 老街, she witnessed another boy hugging the legs of girls also, then he cry damn loud and watever, to attract sympathy n attention. Then when they gave him the money, he just take the $$, stop crying immediately, then count the $$$ before putting in his pocket somemore -.- DAMN -_- PLEASE WAH PIANG EH!!!
After which, my father said, take the train to next stop so that will have seats, coz many people get on board at 世界之窗. So the train came, then me and my sister entered, then bang! THE DOOR CLOSE! O_O!!! me and my sister left inside only. So terrified coz we don’t have any form of contact or anything. So we quickly signalled to them the last stop with our pinky finger, so that we can meet them again -_-
So we went to last stop and waited for them to come out. Then finally saw them, so relieved. Hahahaha.
Then we took the train again all the way to the last stop -_- Lohu.
I told you we were tired.
HAHAHA. LOL!!! Read the Chinese & the English. Direct translation, epic phail. HAHAHA.
Needed to clear customs and fill in immigration forms again… -_-“
After we reach Lohu, still need to take train to hotel, so nice -.- Took first-class seats in the train. Super cool, feels like aeroplane like that, even the smell (Which I hate) -_-“
Then got off, and had to TRANSFER train to Tsuen Wan West again. Leg almost break.
But there’s always energy for camwhoring! 😀
Reached this transfer place from Lohu, hahaha. See this place, all is funeral stuff :X
Was getting late so we went back to our hotel immediately, and sian diao, have to start packing already 😦 Checking out the next morning. Sad enough.
Nice takoyaki crackers! 😀
And then, we made this place’s discovery just on the 4th day! There’s this bridge connection and it’s translucent/transparent? And then you can see 41 levels down! Damn cool! And scary at the same time, especially when you lie down, it’s like you are facing the bottom. ;O
Not scary in this picture.. But if you are there, when you step on the glass surface, your leg will turn numb one. Imagine you fall!!! It’s 45 levels, no kid!!!
See view behind! 😀 Damn nice. 45 levels leh! Hahaha. Love this awesome hotel! 🙂
Nice scenery!! ^^
Our stuff from Shenzhen. Not a lot actually 😦 Regret regret! Should have bought more lor, actually they should have given more time for us to shop, because we spent most of our time haggling. LOL!
Tired, but still, we carried our cup noodles to Korkor’s room to eat together! Hahaha. And the potato chips and drinks and everything. Woo! After eating immediately go back hotel sleep liao :((
Last day in HK alr, damn sad. Happy at the fact that I’m still at HK, and my classmates are busy studying in school! Hahaha!
Went to Che Kung Temple in the morning, no pictures coz I was afraid it’ll be rude. Some went to 求签, while me and sis slacking in the shelter coz it was starting to rain and (still) very cold that day. :X
7-eleven! ^^ and the heading above 😀 Ignore my brother.
Walking to the temple 😛
The first time we saw such houses in Hong Kong!! For the richer, perhaps. Other people (probably people like me) stayed in places like…
The monk? ;\ I guess they’re different. Not elaborating.
After which headed to Mong Kok which I got a little pissed (ew) but I shan’t elaborate coz we shall not talk about unhappy things lalala~ but wah, it was a great day of shopping man. Bought more things in Mongkok than Shenzhen, definitely, but it was more ex. But nevertheless, it was great! ^^
Where they ate..
Then after that shopped like crazy. Bought many bags, clothes, anything. Except shoes. Then bought everyone’s gifts, accessories, wow. Truly a crazy day. Cardigans that we bought, everything. ^^. Rocks!! Although it was more ex than Shenzhen, but many times cheaper than Singapore, definitely 😀
And it was over. Hurrily gathered at 3.30pm, then MRT-ed back to our hotel, took our luggages from the room. I removed 3 layers of clothes, left my sweater + coat. And then I removed one of my leggings too, left with stockings + another pair of leggings (yes 3 layers). After which, we got our luggages and got onto the tour bus (AFTER 5 DAYS, did you just forgot we were supposed to follow a tour? hahaha)
The tour guide said, 1st day see us, then we disappeared all the way until 5th day, when we return to airport. LOL. Call us 厉害 and everything. Hahaha.
Then took our luggages, hang around a little while at the seating area while the tour guide help us check in and get our boarding passes.
@ HK airport ^^
I went to change again, removed my leggings and this time wear a pair of shorts haha. So all’s left is sweater + shorts + jacket. Hiong. I was still in HK man. Got our boarding passes after that 😀
The toilet. Anyone can interpret the first sign? Hahaha. My brother say first one is 求签 LOL! Looks like right! HAHAHA
And in the end it really is…
Why so many toilets!
Went to eat Popeyes, which was more ex than Singapore :((
But the meals are kind of different. Just take a look O_O Does Singapore’s Popeyes have burgers? I ate some chicken burger (it was supposedly the cheapest at HK48…).
Then sister, mother and me checked-in to the restricted area and bought A LOT TIDBITS including 老婆饼 😀 We were supposed to board by 7.30pm and then we were at the shop at 7.30pm!!! Took the 2 heavy 老婆饼 bags (we bought like HK900+ worth ._.) and then walked damn fast to the boarding gate.
And, WHY DOES THE BOARDING GATE HAVE TO BE SO FAR?? Boarding gate 29 here -.-” It’s not like Singapore, turn here turn there. IT’S LIKE ONE STRAIGHT LINE LITERALLY FROM 1-80. Ok I’m not very sure, but as far as I remember, yes it was one straight line down, and I practically walked from Gate 11 to Gate 29 -.-” One gate = one travellator. Legs were breaking!!!! Somemore we had to rush, and all the load I was carrying (damn heavy, now I muscle ache), made it even worse, wah lao!
But thankfully, we managed to board, at 7.42pm. Flight was to fly at 7.55pm LOL!!! XD Damn heng 😛 But the thing is, the others just went in before us by a few seconds, hahaha. :D:D
Reached Singapore at about 11.20pm, but I think it was too early because we were scheduled to arrive at 11.40pm, so we were rounding around the country LOL! I saw the SG Flyer pass by twice. It was quite obvious that we were rounding around because the plane was slanted and the screen showed the plane’s route going in circles. Hahaha. Can see SG Flyer on the plane, Esplanade, etc etc.
What’s this? Very nice also, passed by twice too. Hahaha.
After that we reached Singapore, and despite wearing only sweater + shorts, I was still damn hot!!! Wonder if the airport was aircon-ed. Maybe it’s the change in environment.. but seriously very hot -.-“
Inside joke. Hahaha. Then we Maxi-ed home. Charge $50 leh, kns… we STARCHASE, $45/h only, HAHAHA! :X
Reach home, aircon room like nothing!!! Wah piang eh… was almost gonna perspire that night when I put my blanket over myself.
Woke up 1.45pm the next morning, didn’t want to go to school coz very very tired. That was how tired HK made me, with the walking around, walk walk walk non-stop. Hong Kongers legs sure very strong one.
So I pretty much enjoyed this trip except for the rushing around places. Went to Macau, Cheung Chau, Shenzhen in a 5-day duration. Not too bad. LOVE THE FOOD! Seriously ate a lot, literally every 3-4 hours. And they’re not small meals, they’re like HEAVY meals repeating very often. Horrid.
This trip, my sister’s hand got trapped in the MTR door it’s like Singapore’s underground train, got 2 doors. My sister’s hand got stuck in the 1st door, and the 2nd door closed (so we were unable to push her hand in or anything). And she still happily smile at us with her hand there, looking very helpless! Then we were like omg. Then she manage to get her hand out, and then now her bag is stuck -_- then finally the door opened and she hopped out. Wah piang eh… damn scary sia. Try having your hand trapped there. Even though I didn’t self-experience it, I don’t want to -_-“
The toilets everywhere sux though, except for the hotel toilets and the airport toilet -.- Everywhere is damn smelly, no toilet paper etc. Somemore wear damn thick, then the cubicle damn small, then your clothes like touching the liquids on the wall like that. K shall not continue on this gross topic 😦
