What do you value most in life?

I love meaningful assignments like this- enjoyable and gets me thinking about what really matters in life. (picture taken was bad, oops LOL)

Day 3 through my 3-week long COC, and things are getting better. Trail was really really fun- didn’t seem to enjoy the same way when I did it with 4G HAHAHA. Perhaps battlefield trails are well, suited for only NCC people? πŸ˜€

Syndicate 3 has been wonderfully awesome- really really glad that I ended up in this syndicate with all the West kiddos πŸ˜€

Day 4 out of 15, let’s go!

SMTown Singapore 2012

Oh yeah, have I mentioned that I’m going to SHINee World Concert II in December? LOL I saved up for quite a while since September omg, skipping lunch as much as I can and eating at home most of the time so I don’t have to spend my own money πŸ™‚

I don’t know why I ended up in fandom again- I missed SHINee World Concert I cause I simply didn’t care, and ignored the whole craze LOL. But suddenly I saw news about SHINee World Concert II some time in September- and it was like “Okay no matter what, I must go.” Hence I started saving $$$ even though I’m not really a crazy fangirl anymore LOL.

SMTown was tempting as well- I wanted to see SNSD, Super Junior, f(x)… all those idols of the 2008-2010 generation LOL. So I thought of finding last minute tickets like SS2 back in June 2010, hoping that maybe I might have a chance to watch the concert cheaply?

And yes I got it πŸ˜€ It wasn’t a good seat (good zone bad row), but I guess the price’s rather reasonable…? Originally $221, bought it at $75, deal secured at 4.30pm LOL 2 hours before the concert :S

Afterwards Chenxi and my sister secured another deal- and Chenxi’s cousin managed to find a seat as well, hence all 4 of us ended up going to the concert πŸ˜€ Just that all of us were seated differently. I was in the light green zone, and they were all in dark blue, so in other words I was enjoying the concert alone LOL I DIDN’T CARE, I was so so so happy I managed to get such a cheap deal πŸ˜€

Well, I was really quite far no doubt LOL LIKE WATCHING NDP 😦 small figures.

Originally when I reached my seat, my feelings were like wts no wonder it’s so cheap LOL WATCH ANTS. From where I was sitting, each person was like 2cm or something omg. But the moment SHINee came out, NO REGRETS AT ALL HAHAHA especially when they headed to the stage in the centre. Omg they performed Lucifer and I started crying HAHA Juliette and Love Like Oxygen as well. Notably, their old songs (i.e. when I was still in fandom). Holy crap it all came back- it was the first time after 4 years watching them perform live, it has always been my dream to watch them perform live seriously. Omg how does it feel to have your dream come true? HAHAHA. It’s a group you have followed for so long, their activities, reality shows, performances, photoshoots, interviews… it felt so.. surreal? Jonghyun… was damn hot LOL.

I was tearing so hard as I sang along to their songs it was so embarrassing. Furthermore I was sitting between an auntie and a little boy (free tickets I guess- they didn’t know the groups at all) they literally sat back and enjoyed the concert. More than half the concert I was on the edge of my seat screaming so hard, singing so loudly LOL I GUESS THEY WERE PRETTY ANNOYED WITH ME. I sound like a freaking obsessed girl that doesn’t have a life out of fandom or something but I don’t think people out of the KPop scene can get how fangirls feel- it’s like FINALLY SEEING THEM NO JOKE. NOT THROUGH A COMPUTER SCREEN, not through a TV screen…. you’re seeing them dance and perform in real. You’re listening to the real music. Their voices. IT’S THEM, IT’S REAL. LOL can things ever be better? πŸ˜€

I heard that the girl that got serenaded by ChangKyu was an ex-RVian omg so lucky LOLOL my sister said she was tearing then cause… it was so sweet HAHAHA. Sigh she was singing along and everything… envious much? LOL. Hopefully there won’t be such a thing during SHINee World Concert II or I’ll go mad watching 😦

After that it was raining and many people started to leave (-__-), so I pretended to follow the dispersing crowd and moved all the way to the front to watch LOLOL but there were only 2-3 songs left by then :/ Didn’t get to watch Sherlock upclose HAHA sian. Should have moved in front earlier why was I so innocent and nice zzz there were probably empty seats in front that I didn’t know of :/

After the concert LOL we had a really really hard time looking for one another after the concert because there were just too many people! Somemore both their phone batteries went flat and we had to rely on that one location we agreed on- Esplanade bus stop. LOL really too reliant on technology.

Took the last train home, knocked into a guy’s SNSD fanboard while running for the last train LOLOL I hope I didn’t spoil it HAHA.

After all these concerts I’ve been to (since 2008), I guess I’d never regret spending a single cent on them πŸ™‚ It’s just like buying in-game prepaid cards, that feeling of satisfaction and happiness can never compare to anything else. And the tears of joy I shed so much during the concert, it’s all worth it hahaha. I really really love concerts cause they are memories I will always remember. Definitely looking forward to SHINee World II Concert on December 8 (reminds me of how Onew corrected the translator/Jonghyun? HAHAHA), it’ll be this motivation that pulls me through COC πŸ˜€ Jiayou jiayou!!!

Once again feel really guilty for missing Floorball team bonding just for this- sigh. When I already suck so much. I keep getting reminded of how sucky I am zzz effort effort effort.

Legoland Malaysia

So yeah woohooo I made a visit to Legoland Malaysia with the family πŸ™‚ It was in the planning for quite a while- and since my Taiwan’s trip cancelled it became confirmed hahaha. I was really really hyped up- probably because it’s been a really really long time since I visited an amusement park, and I missed roller coasters so much. I read reviews that the rides wouldn’t be thrilling, but I guess the place will probably be beautiful enough to compensate HAHA.

At the entrance of Legoland Malaysia! There were many many people queuing for tickets, probably locals I guess? (as in Malaysians)

Well this is weird but we had KFC for lunch LOL since fast food differs in every country. They have what Colonel Burger, Alaskan Fish Burger (?? in Singapore: Shrooms/OR Fillet/Zinger?) They probably just title it differently hahaha Colonel Burger tasted like OR Fillet Burger.

So we whacked all the rides first there were slight thrill rides, and I think that The Dragon was probably the most fun? But most rides are catered to children so there aren’t really rides that make your heart jump out of your mouth hahahaha. There were water rides as well but it’s just one fast drop most of the time and that’s all.

One of the more fun rides… cause there was this steep drop LOL and that’s all πŸ˜›

And there’s this area (Lego Kingdom?) with Lego sculptures of places all around the world. Most significantly was Singapore’s skyline, it was the first thing I saw because of the Singapore Flyer LOL damn eye-catching. The CBD skyline I guess- with The Fullerton Hotel? πŸ˜€ We camwhored quite a bit there cause it was really pretty.

Singapore behind me… in lego blocks HAHA.

There’s this place for little children to play as well- like playground kinda thing LOL with everything built out of lego blocks.

Acting cute with the lion sculpture HAHAHA.

So we took the lame rides as well- including this stupid ride that requires you to pump pump pump the vehicle and put out the fire in the building LOL (IT’S JUST A PICTURE OF THE FLAME) but the queue was like 5 minutes so AIYA GO AHEAD HAHAHA.

Queuing with little children LOL I swear there weren’t many teenagers around πŸ˜€

Taking picture with the lego fire engine and a hose HAHAHA. I thought water would come out of it but in the end the tap was just endless spinning…

And a last shot before we went back home! Spent a total of about 6 hours at Legoland? Just queuing for the rides, taking pictures and everything. Time flies when you are having fun, of course.

Unfortunately I had to miss a friendly game for this- which means my skills get even worse when I’m already so cui. I’ll just have to work harder, since I suck at balls so much. Sigh.

Great trip overall, slept really well that night I guess πŸ™‚ I was pretty dead by the time I got home hahaha. I would recommend this trip, cause it’s a really nice getaway from Singapore πŸ˜€ It feels good to be out of civilisation for a while, furthermore it’s like visiting a theme park overseas!

I think I’ll return to this place in a few years time? πŸ˜€ Cause most rides aren’t open yet. Also, they are still constructing the Legoland Hotel right beside the theme park hahaha. This place was in the middle of nowhere, hence there’s still a lot a lot of land for expansion (Geography knowledge yo), so it will probably become bigger as the years go by πŸ˜€ I can’t wait to see how much it will change the next time I visit, hahaha. I do wonder how much my life will have changed then, too.

Today, I took the initiative to talk to 3 people I haven’t talked to in a long long time. I just thought, perhaps I should take the initiative to catch up before the friendship dies forever…?

It’s pretty how amazing life changes from the last time I’ve spoken to them hahaha.

and well, I’m thankful that they still remember me of course πŸ™‚

I need to be clear of my goals, clear of my weaknesses, my strengths, or I’ll just be continually wasting the team’s time, coach’s time, and most importantly, wasting the effort of people who are constantly trying to correct my mistakes.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise, since I’m so good at being lazy and procrastinating. I must work harder, and work even harder.

Live your life, Make Your Mark

I haven’t been blogging about significant events because I’m simply too busy eating and watching dramas LOL

1. Dim Sum with family
I was like dragged awake at 9am on a wonderful Saturday morning crankily to go have “dim sum” at Red Star and rightaway I was like “wOoOoOoOw LUCKILY I DIDN’T HAVE SUPPER YESTERDAY” HAHAHA

Not much pictures taken because I was busy looking out for ζ΅ζ²™εŒ…, most (with my face?) are in my sister’s camera because iPhone 5 camera > Blackberry 5MP camera. I’ll update if I feel like it hehehe

2. AudioMob
This was an event that Higher Productions came to our school to promote- I remember being an idiot and going “Huh but $5 very expensive leh… 你也不是不ηŸ₯ι“ζˆ‘εœ¨ηœι’±”. Went ahead with it anyway, since many classmates were going, plus NCC people HAHAHA.

Then it turned out one by one people lost their tickets/cannot make it/had something else… left with Yujie & I, Yixin & Jiawen, and the rest of the guys who went by themselves HAHA.

The girls company for the night, combined because most of us were pangseh-ed by other people HAHA.

Basically we were given this 58-minute MP3 which we had to download beforehand, and as an entire audio mob we started the MP3 at 6.30pm LOL. We were required to bring earphones of course πŸ™‚ So there were components like “FREEZE IN YOUR FAVOURITE SUPERHERO POSITION!” “Blow your bubbles!” “Put your thumbs in the air!” “Float slowly!” HAHAHA so the whole Orchard Road was like staring at this bunch of siao ginas. Oooh and there was Gangnam Style as well and everybody just horse-danced along while walking LOL super cool!

Along the way we were instructed to take out our umbrellas and hold them up even though it wasn’t raining- and I was so lazy plus sweaty (eeeyuck) so I didn’t bother. Then one random guy was like “You don’t have an umbrella? Let’s share!” and he held it over my head. LOL FREAKING NICE GESTURE even though it’s a stranger woah hahaha :-))) It was quite pleasant and I didn’t dare to open my bag in case he finds out that my umbrella is actually inside LOL. Oh and there’s also this book exchange- I gave away my Newsweek and I got a DBS organiser in return…? FILLED WITH MATH WORKINGS HAHAHA.

We walked from Paragon to Fort Canning Park while the music was playing- it didn’t feel all that long because we were doing all sorts of crazy stuff along the way. But it was really really hot and humid and I was sweaty and sticky and EEEEEEEW WHY DIDN’T I BRING A TOWEL LOL. Seriously I was perspiring like nuts my fringe was all wet and EEEYUCK MY FACE WAS THUNDERBOOM RAINING 😦

When we reached Fort Canning Park I kept still for like 15minutes LOL DIDN’T WANT TO PERSPIRE ANY FURTHER. Then finally cooled down after a while to enjoy the rest of the night πŸ™‚

There was this component whereby markers were being passed around to jot down our wishes on a balloon and then everyone sent it up flying at the same time. It’s something like “Let your dreams fly” and I thought that was rather meaningful πŸ™‚

Kinda upset how the group photo with the AudioMob board wasn’t up on their Facebook page mmm :/

Afterwards we (actually, I wanted) left because I couldn’t stand my shoes in that muddy environment HAHA hence we didn’t rock the rest of the night away oops

And we went for dessert at Fruit Paradise! πŸ™‚ One fruit tart is like $8 after GST/SVC and I was like ouch ouch ouch that’s your 1 hour pay Yixin. But it was nice la and you only live once so.

That concluded the night yesterday! πŸ™‚ It was a great night, and well some calories burnt instead of rotting at home? πŸ˜€

3. Mahjong
For some reason, I got hooked onto Viwawa’s Wahjong recently… along with my brother. Then we decided to play with the real table!

So after a century, the mahjong table got dragged out of the storeroom HAHAHA. Taught my cousin how to play omg and now 4 of us have been playing like mad. I’m kinda addicted oooops it’s okay this is advance training for my ε€ͺε€ͺη”Ÿζ΄» next time! πŸ˜€ Actually I don’t really think that’s possible, but no harm dreaming πŸ˜€ Just that I’ll become really fat (and round) cause all I do is move my hands, my arms, and then eat eat eat on the chair, eat, eat, eat more, take more food, eat more.

I cannot imagine my thighs even bigger liao leh it’s like so huge already how to become bigger?

Anyway HAHAHA I didn’t know my house still has mahjong tiles LOL next time can invite friends over to play at my house woohoooo don’t need to play with the pathetically small cube tiles anymore HAHAHA.

There was this funny round though: 1. Brother εƒι”™η‰Œ, 2. Cousin ε°‘δΈ€η‰Œ, 3. I ε€šδΈ€η‰Œ. So since 3 of us couldn’t 胑 anymore we just threw away all our tiles in accordance to my sister, who was the only one that could win HAHAHA. Then in the end she self draw what the shit. Okay mahjong terms HAHAHA

4. Dramas
Seriously living at the top of my life woohoo

I finished To The Beautiful You, and I would say it was much better than Dream High LOL although I’m the only one saying this. It kept me glued a lot more, maybe because Minho really looks good HAHAHA I WASN’T THAT MUCH ATTACHED TO 2pm in Dream High LOL.

Anyway yeah now onto my next drama, Full House woohoo the dramas I watch are getting older and older HAHAHA FULL HOUSE WAS LIKE 2004? Omg I was innocently in Primary 2 please! πŸ˜€ It didn’t feel very 2004 until I saw Rain whip out his handphone HAHAHA OMG. It’s so amazing how handphones change so much in 8 years omg, even my non-camera dinosaur phone is better than those phones in the drama…

Time to continue my dramas, train up on my floorball basic exercises… (virgin friendly tomorrow!) and maybe go for a run if possible! Sian why are we going Legoland on Thursday 😦 bad clash of dates…

Yesterday was the physical fitness test that I dreaded for a while. Not because I was afraid of failing, but I haven’t done Standing Broad Jump in ages :/ People who failed to meet the criteria would be deemed unsuitable for the course.

I didn’t do as well as I thought I would, getting a D for Standing Broad Jump and C for Inclined Pull Ups. I’m not trying to be the biggest asshole over here, but being in a sports CCA right now (I should supposedly be at the peak of my fitness) I should have done much better than that. If I had the same performance in school I wouldn’t even be able to meet the requirements of NAPFA Gold.

Anyway, I guess many girls were disadvantaged because of Inclined Pull Ups (and Standing Broad Jump?). I expected to see a metal bar similar to that we had in schools, the type with a 2nd lower bar to hit. But nah there was only the first bar, so it became something like inclined chin ups.

I don’t understand why but I know after elimination half the girls ended up going home. And I just thought it’s pretty unfair because it is definitely different from what we do in school. Also, there were some people waving up and down (like what Mr John Tan said, caterpillars) who had their scores counted; some people doing standard ones which wasn’t counted because their chin is not long enough to touch the bar. I don’t think it was a very fair test…

I guess physical standards are important in determining whether you are fit enough to lead your cadets in physical strenuous activities like orienteering, but I agree with what my friend said, I don’t think it should be a yardstick in determining a person’s suitability for the course. Physical fitness isn’t telling of someone’s leadership capabilities. But who am I to say this, I can’t think of any other way that could be a better measurement.

Now that I passed, I guess I’ll have to be ready for the 3 weeks of course. I’m not sure if I will enjoy it, but oh well I signed up for it willingly, will just have to see how it goes.

I pray all 6 of us RV kids end up in the same syndicate though. That would make things a lot more bearable πŸ™‚
